FREE event with

Dr. Corrie Whitmore

University of Alaska-Anchorage

Event Description: Drawing from her experience teaching AI literacy and evaluation competencies, Dr. Whitmore’s presentation will cover how practicing evaluators can have conversations about AI in evaluation with their colleagues or partners and how she does and does not use AI in her own evaluation work. Participants will also be invited to share their own experiences with the topic.

Presenter: Dr. Whitmore is currently Treasurer of the Alaska Evaluation Association, an Associate Professor of Health Sciences at the University of Alaska Anchorage, and the 2023 President of the American Evaluation Association. Her current evaluation work focuses on measuring the effectiveness of substance abuse prevention and treatment, evaluating Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) prevention efforts, and introducing students to evaluative thinking.
